Marketing Research Assistant

The person for this position is required to lend their talents to research directors and project directors in conducting survey studies, collecting all the data, and to prepare tables, charts, and graphs for reports and also to put together presentations.

After the survey is put together, you will help do the analysis of the survey data.

You will also help with telephone data collection, by checking telephone questionnaires ordering any supplies that may be needed, testing programs, teaching telephone interviewers, monitoring some of the telephone interviews as they are conducted by your trainees.

Assist Project Directors in the organization of research databases and the mail panel databases.

Collect and analyze any secondary data and prepare all the written summaries.

Coordinate recruitment activities.

You will proof-read research survey materials and reports for errors, and formatting. Help oversee typing and printing of research survey materials.

Work with the production department (including photocopying, collating, binding, page checking) to make sure that all the research materials and reports meet any deadlines.

You will also perform other duties as they are needed: to complete all research projects on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

At least 2 years work experience in survey research, and research techniques.

You will need experience with Microsoft office products.

Time management skills; very strong organizational skills.

Ability to work well with everyone — all employees and clients.
