About Us, Resumes Cover Letters Jobs.com About Us:Hi everyone, my name is Joe Thurston. I live in Indiana. That's in the Midwest central area of the United States. We get to enjoy all 4 seasons throughout the year so the weather is never the same for long. My wife, 3 children, and 2 Maltese puppies all love it here. Lots of things to do and enjoy in Indiana. The fall colors here are really spectacular, and we even have the famous Park County Covered Bridge Festival close by. People travel from all corners to get there. The one thing I always wanted to do was to create a website. With all the setbacks in the world today I wanted some way to help people through these tough times. So with 38 years of working experience behind me, I wondered how I could put my experience to good use. My own work history is 10 years at CBS. For 8 years I owned my own business. For 11 more years I worked in Printing Manufacturing and was also the production supervisor for 5 years. From there I moved on to the Steel Manufacturing facility where I have 9 years and still work there today. My passion for helping people has put me on this road to build this website. It's for and about you, not about us.

All the best to you and your families,  PS: I have been out of work myself looking for a job. If you look at my work experience above, I worked for a Printing Manufacturer and was their supervisor for 5 years. Well long story short, the plant closed down. I was out of work for the first time in a long time. I thought of all the resumes and cover letters I had screened in the past job I held. I thought of all the people I had hired and what was it about their resume that made me call them for an interview? Well I got to work right away. I created many custom built resumes geared towards each place of business I was applying for work. Each with its own unique cover letter. It took me 3 months to find and get hired at the steel manufacturing plant. Wow I thought that was a long stretch of time. Oh, I had many interviews in between and a lot of taking their company's 2 to 3 hour testing. To get hired on where I am now, I had to take a 3 1/2 hour test. Was I glad that was over. Yet, here I was again working 9 to 5. Everyone has dreams and mine was to create a website so I could attain freedom and work for myself. MY SOLUTION!!! I still do not know why this took so long to pop in my head. Create a website to make a living at what you love to do, helping people. I realize it sounds unrealistic. I am also sure that you are the same as I am, and absolutely nothing is impossible to me. So I will show you how I created a website and you could too!
